La Rochelle and South Africa

Its are second day in La Rochelle and it has proven to be one of our favorite locations thus far. Yesterday a new ¨¨companion¨¨ Sean, the South African pirate of 26, joined us at the train station. After we popped into a cafe for lunch; we spent the whole day sitting and talking of jelly donuts. This might sound a bit lazy but we managed to sit at beautiful locations like the beach, the dock, and a ledge over looking the water. This morning we woke up early what South Africans like to call a ¨¨dawning swim¨¨ in the ocean. It was cold. Rumor has it that at the young age of 35 he will be retired, cruzing about the Mediterranean in a yatch known as the Durty Hussey. Our next trip seems to be set in stone. Sean, my China, you have been a hardy companion. Think of us over every stick of gum and burning rings of fire.
